Giordano Hotel (Ravello, Italy)

Many guests were extremely impressed with the hotel's setting. Both the natural aspects of the lovely surrounding hills and also the gardens, which they described as immaculately maintained.

While the hotel is certainly not on the coast, and does not even have much of a view of it, guests were very happy with its location close to the centre of Ravello, which they universally describe as a charming and attractive town. Also, it provided guests with some good nearby dining options.

While Ravello is not a big and boisterous town, guests were nevertheless pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful the hotel grounds and their rooms were, despite being so close to the main town square.

While there is the odd glimpse of the sea from some parts of the property, it really isn't a sea view hotel. Considering many guests were in the area to view the Amalfi Coast, some were just a little disappointed that they had no sea view from their hotel.

While the Giordano does offer preferential rates at the gorgeous restaurant of a sister property a short walk away, and of course there are more dining options in the town, some guests would simply have liked the convenience of being able to eat dinner at the hotel on occasion.

Going by guest comments, it seems that some of the rooms only have a bath, and no shower. Not even one set up over the bath. This caused some inconvenience since they sometimes just wanted a quick and easy shower, rather than a long and leisurely bath.
