Make sure to enjoy a meal at Varma, which is said to serve some pretty amazing dishes, and boasts a really great ambiance. With a large focus on “Slow Food” and cooks most items in its geothermal oven. During breakfast, you can boil your own eggs in it - it's a fun and unique experience that guests recommend doing. Most of the ingredients here come from local organic farms, and everything is always fresh.

The hotel boasts beautiful views and the local scenery around the hotel is simply stunning. Most rooms have their own lovely lookout onto the local nature or the Varma river. Many guests were impressed that they could also see the Aurora Borealis from their beds.

The onsite spa gets many good reviews and a visit is highly recommended. If you're short on time, simply visit the hot tubs instead. It's the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Guests also appreciated the courtesy of bathrobes and slippers provided for each person upon arrival.
