Frontier River Resort is situated 6km from the Border Post of SA & Namibia on the South African Side. Sitting high up on the banks of the Orange River with incredible mountain views and overlooking the Orange River. There are 6 luxury tented chalets which can sleep either 2 or 3 guests each with air-conditioning en-suite bathroom, fridge, kettle, tea/coffee facilities and fully self-catering. No TV's and no WiFi. The main house features a lovely swimming pool with bar facilities and a large deck overlooking the Namibian Mountain range and Orange River. Full English breakfasts are available and dinners on request. There are no restaurants in the vacinity of Vioolsdrift and our Lodge is fully self-catering. We sell wood, ice, braai packs, water etc. There are 2 full equipped Boma Kitchens for the guests to use with braaing and cooking facilities. The Transfrontier National Park, Richtersveld is situated 22km from us and rock en-gravings can be viewed. There is also a magnificent view poiint close by for sundowners.
