Flemings Selection Hotel Frankfurt-City (Frankfurt, Germany)

The penthouse level restaurant and bar were perhaps the part of the hotel that the guests most enjoyed. The food was considered decent, but it was the views over Frankfurt, especially at night, that really seemed to draw in them in.

While the actual food at the main restaurant received somewhat mixed reviews, guests were nearly unanimous that the breakfast served at Fleming Deluxe Frankfurt-City was top class. Quantity and quality both came in for praise.

A couple of guests mentioned that, unlike many hotels that advertise “multilingual reception”, the reception staff here really could communicate and help guests in many languages, not just German and English.

While the hotel does have larger, and more expensive, rooms quite a few guests in the standard rooms pointed out that they were very small indeed. Some accepted this as an inevitable result of the central location, but others were less forgiving, saying that a luxury hotel should not have rooms that small.

While not often mentioned, a few guests seemed to have problems with street noise affecting their sleep at night. The hotel is situated between two busy roads, so its not clear whether any rooms face away from the streets.

Quite a number of guests were disappointed with the gym facilities. They had been hoping that they could get in a proper workout, but described the gym as too small to really do this. Some also mentioned several broken machines.
