You’ll love the full Irish breakfast at this hotel where they even offer you a menu to choose from. It’s no simple buffet deal here where everything is cooked to order. A great way to start the day especially if you’re on the way to the ferry.

If you’re on your way to catch an early ferry, then this place is the perfect base for the night before. You’re a very short drive from the port, and it’s really easy to find. It’s also quite affordable.

Rooms stuck in the eighties
The lobby and lounge have been renovated to a very high standard at this hotel, but that just serves to remind you how old the rooms are. The décor is very dated, and the furniture and amenities are quite old and really should be replaced.

Quite a few guests have noted that the rooms at this hotel often have a strange smell that is a little like damp. It’s not too pleasant, and the staff aren’t all that surprised when told of it. If the problem is known then surely it should be fixed.
