Near downtown Danbury and not far from Hartford, the hotel is in a prime spot for visiting natural wonders like Collis P. Huntington State Park, historical sites like Military Museum of Southern New England, and fun family spots like Danbury Ice Arena.

When you stay at the hotel, you'll be treated to a posh spread filled with beautiful and functional Ethan Allen signiture furniture. The hotel is just across the way from the factory, so it's ornamented with an a assortment of their classic pieces.

Some guests have mentioned that the lobby - decked out in stylish furniture and beautifully decorated - isn't representative of the low-key, basic rooms. Despite the divergence in quality, they did feel that the rooms were clean and comfortable just the same.

Having a mini-fridge might not be a necessity if you're just passing through, but it can be useful if you're traveling with any perishables. The Ethan Allen Hotel does offer refrigerators, but they cost extra. However, upgrading to a suite gives you access to a fridge sans fees.
