This spacious four-bedroom vacation home directly on Barren River Lake is comfortable, convenient, and fun. With brand-new kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, and basement renovations, this house is sure to please and is ready for fun. It stylishly combines the rustic appeal of a log cabin with an updated more modern flare. Two outside decks, a covered car porch, and ample parking make this vacation home an outdoor entertainment-friendly destination. With a large 8-seater kitchen table, 4 kitchen island barstools, and a 6-seater patio table—this house can entertain a large group comfortably. Both upstairs guest bedrooms feature pillow top queen mattresses with tasteful decor. The upstairs master bedroom offers a king-size bed with separate deck entrance. There is plenty of room to spread out in this home with two full bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs), an upstairs living room, and a downstairs entertainment area with full bar and lounge area. The fourth downstairs bedroom offers privacy and a separate patio entrance for easy access to the backyard. Two wood-burning fireplaces make a cozy cold-weather retreat.With four bedrooms, a queen pullout couch in the upstairs living room, a single rollaway bed, and two couches downstairs, this home can comfortably sleep up to 12-14 people. Additionally, a washer and dryer downstairs allows for added convenience and comfort.The outside of the property backs up to Barren River Lake with water views during fall and winter. There is access to the neighborhood dock (two houses down from this unit) with a boat slip in an inlet that is right off the main drag of the lake. With two driveways, there is ample parking for up to five cars. This home is conveniently located just 2 miles from the State Park Resort, 10 minutes from Scottsville, and 10 minutes from Glasgow.This vacation home is fully stocked with linens, bathroom, and kitchen supplies. It boasts Keurig coffee maker, Wi-Fi, Hulu, Netflix, and 4 TVs throughout the house. There is a DVD player in upstairs living room, and there are several movies from which to choose. It is ready for you and your friends or family to enjoy!This property is not strictly rental and is also used as a second vacation home for the owners, so there may be some personal items in the home.This is a pet friendly home. If you have allergies, please let us know beforehand. During summer months the owners will probably have their boat at their dock. If renters will need to use the dock, please let owners know as soon as possible.
