Four luxurious studios built in the manner of a old 1800s NZ mill town on one & a half acres of coastal land with lush & colorful sub tropical gardens & bush overlooking Orongo Bay , Bay Of Islands. A three minute drive takes you into the historic village of Russell with world class waterfront cafes & restaurants & all manner of water-based activities. Two wineries & four lovely swimming beach's are just a five minute drive from your studio. Fantail Mill offers a very private place for you to holiday & while you can enjoy all the busyness & activity's which Russell & the Bay has to offer during the day, when done a three minute drive will bring you back to our quite retreat from the rest of the world. Explore the grounds, relax with a drink or book under the shady canopy of the trees on one of the several sets of cape cod chairs scattered around under the bush & watch the antics of the tuis & fantails or go across the road & have a walk on the boardwalk & watch the marine life under foot or walk the three kilometer walk into Russell. Morning coffees under the sunny front veranda or pre-dinner drinks with some local oysters on the private rear balcony's overlooking the teal blue waters of Orongo Bay with amazing sunsets before the few minutes drive in to Russell for a lovely memorable sea side meal.
