Arroyo Verde is a family owned and managed fly fishing lodge on the world renowned river Traful, within the Nahuel Huapi National Park in northern Patagonia and just an hour and a half from the local airport, San Carlos de Bariloche. It was one of the first private estancias (ranch) to open its doors to anglers from across the globe. Nestling in the Traful valley Arroyo Verde, named after one of the Traful's tributaries has for more than 25 years played host to discerning anglers of all ages and abilities and to those seeking adventure in comfort. The amazing river Traful which runs for ten miles through the unspoilt beauty of Arroyo Verde is home to land-locked salmon, brown and rainbow trout. The surrounding Andes Mountain Range make for breathtaking horse-riding and hiking excursions. What makes Arroyo Verde so special is that it is still home for the family who take an active part in preserving this unique establishment and maintaining its high standards of hospitality.
