About Cabana Mesteacanul

Cabana Mesteacanul is located in an unique place, at the base of the Fagaras mountains, surrounded by the forest and cut by the river Vistisoara. The cabin offers to its guests a fantastic view over the mountains and all the privacy they need. We have an outdoor sauna, a small lake full of trouts, living in their natural environment, without any intervention from us (which makes them very tasty) and 3 small rivers crossing the property. The Brancoveanu Monastery, an Aventura Park and the Dragus Ski Resort are only 3 km away. Restaurants and a Pizzeria are just nearby. A very big outdoor swimming pool is just 10 km of distance. The Moldoveanu Peak, the highest in Romania, is watching our cabin from 2544 m of altitude. In the summer, you can hike up to the peak and back in about 12 h. Traditional meals are an option. So, no matter if you are looking for a quite holiday or for an active one, Cabana Mesteacanul can fulfil all your expectations.
