Even though, you\'ll be experiencing country life, this cozy cottage is about 15 minutes outside of Houma, Louisiana. Houma is fun city that includes shopping and many restaurants. Looking for some activities? Houma offers putt-putt, a bowling alley, movie theatre, etc. Thibodaux, Louisiana is located about twenty minutes away and features the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center. Don\'t forget to visit near-by plantations and float down the bayou on a swamp tour. Go explore the Cajun culture! Venturing to New Orleans?
