Appleby House & Rabbit Island Huts is a special getaway. Offers two types of accommodation, Appleby House you can rent the whole house as a Holiday Home or rent By the Room. Rabbit Island Huts comprises six huts and one glamping tent, a little bit hotel and a little bit traditional kiwi camping in luxury. The owners live on the property but separate from the guests. Situated on 25 acres of Waimea Plains land, surrounded by farmland with 360 views of the Mt Arthur ranges, Waimea Estuary and Richmond Hills. On the main Hwy heading to Abel Tasman National Park. Rabbit Island beach is a two minute drive down the road. Situated 300 m from the Nelson Tasman Great Taste Trail. Perfect location to be in the middle of everything. Appleby House has three rooms: The Turquoise Room; The Downstairs Apartment; The Upstairs Apartment. Rabbit Island Huts has six huts and one glamping tent. All are private from each other, although they do share a full equipped kitchen, dining, outdoor barbecue area and full laundry facilities. There is complimentary WiFi, tea & coffee, local specialty breads and Appleby House homemade condiments.
