Acorn Lodge, a nature preserve, is in a peaceful, sylvan setting. There is no hunting or fishing allowed on the lodge grounds. Its natural beauty speaks for itself through the photos shown here. \r\n\r\nAcorn Lodge is primarily for adult retreats from the noise and stress of everyday life. If you are planning on bringing children here, we ask that you control them in regards to outdoor noise and raucous behaviour. We are in an area that enjoys peace and quiet and wish for it to stay that way. If you are planning a reunion and bringing many children, we respectfully ask that you look somewhere else. \r\n\r\nA beautiful river walk takes you through the woods and emerges into the solitude of a graceful river. You will find a kitchen with a range and convection oven, a breakfast nook, and even a sitting room with a lift table for your laptop and coffee. Fall asleep at the fireplace at night. \r\n Your alarm clock is the sunrise through the trees. Your neighbors are the deer, owls and wild turkeys. Your schedule is your body clock. Your worldly cares are beyond the clouds.
