Elk Grove Hotel (Elk Grove Village, USA)

Many guests were very pleasantly surprised by the size and condition of the pool, which is in its own indoor atrium, citing it as the hotel's best feature.

With a shuttle service between the hotel and airport, lots of shops and restaurants close by, and a short drive to downtown Chicago, guests found the hotel to be excellently placed for a visit to the area. Although it's close to so many conveniences and within driving distance of the city, the hotel is still reported by guests to be peaceful and in an out-of-the-way location.

For the location, pool, size of the rooms, breakfast options and general standard of the hotel, guests overwhelmingly felt that it was good value for money.

The vast majority of guests were very pleased with the standard of accommodation on offer for the prices at Elk Grove Hotel. However, there were a small number of guests who said they found the hotel to be somewhat rundown and in need of refurbishment. Among the things these guests identified as being ready for improvement were a broken hot tub, broken vending and ice machines, broken air-conditioning and broken bedroom and bathroom fittings.

The cleaning in the hotel was perfectly satisfactory to most guests, but a few expressed disappointment that the standard of cleaning was not what they expected. A small number of guests also reported that their rooms were not cleaned for long periods of time during their stay.

Most guests reported that the customer service was good and that the staff were friendly and helpful. However, a few guests said they had various problems with staff, including checking-in mix-ups, indifferent attitudes to guests' problems, and an inability to solve any issues.
