A quaint red brick building at the southwestern corner of Vondelpark, Central Park is a tranquil place to stay in Amsterdam. Clean, simple rooms have views of the park, coffee and tea equipment, and free Wi-Fi. In addition to a “compact” bathroom with shower there is air-con and a flat screen TVs. With only 42 rooms, Central Park offers a cosy experience in a residential area with beautiful views of Vondelpark. A multilingual staff is at the 24-hour reception. Bike rental is available. The rooms don't offer much by way of glitz, but the beds are comfortable and clean, which guests appreciate. All basic amenities are included.

While other areas of Amsterdam can be noisy late into the night, Zuid is a residential neighbourhood that quiets down early. It's easy to connect with central Amsterdam as well as the airport. Best for travellers who don't mind time in transit.
