To say this hotel is convenient is an understatement. The airport is a stone's throw away, and the convention center and the Merchandise Mart are right on the doorstep. If you're in town on business, then you're right in the business district.
The rooms are well equipped and most importantly very quiet. For a hotel that is so close to the airport, they have done a good job on soundproofing the windows. They are also more than comfortable for a couple of even a small family.
The meals that are served in each of the hotel's restaurants aren't bad, but they are way too expensive for what they are. You also need to pay quite a lot for breakfast even if you only want to eat a pastry and have a coffee.
The staff at the hotel could do with a refresher course in customer service as a few guests have complained of inattentive waiting staff and front desk staff that weren't too polite. It's not too much to ask for a smile at check-in or check-out.
The housekeeping staff aren't as thorough in their job as they should be. A lot of guests complain about uncleaned rooms and minor maintenance issues that aren't dealt with in a timely fashion. This is not really good enough for a Hilton.
