The hotel is across the road from a shopping mall and those guests who liked to eat out or grab a bargain commented that the hotel was in the ideal location for these activites during their stay.

The hotel lobby got a lot of positive attention in reviews with some commenting that the recent upgrades had turned the area into pleasant space to hang out and wait for friends and business colleagues.

The Doubletree hotel chain greets guests with a warm cookie and this is a highlight for many who stay at these hotels. This hotel did not disappoint with many previous guests confirming the cookie was indeed warm and delicious.

Guests staying at this Doubletree encountered a number of broken amenities that were in need of repair. Common complaints included broken tiles in the shower and furniture that was well past its prime.  These guests remarked that the hotel was well overdue for some much needed repair work and could benefit from an overhaul.

The service in both the restaurant and the bar area did not get great reviewers across a number of sites with many previous guests saying that the service was slow and the staff seemingly disinterested.  Some suggested that the staff could benefit from additional training to increase their professionalism.

The noisy neighbors that kept a number of guests from a peaceful sleep were mentioned in comments alongside calls for the hotel to fix that lack of sound-proofing between rooms and in common areas.
