You will find the location of the hotel to be highly convenient and pleasing to the eye — many rooms look out over the River Boyne, there is a shopping centre attached to the hotel with free parking and the city centre is an easy walk away over the footbr
The staff at The D Hotel Drogheda were considered to be professional, yet personable, a trait which extended to the restaurants where excellent service was found to complement the good food and atmosphere.
Make sure you take good note of the directions, as some people have found the hotel a little hard to find at first, but at least you will have plenty of free parking when you get there.
While fans are supplied in rooms, there is no air conditioning, which may get to some during the summer months.
Those with rooms above the restaurant areas found there can be some noise until early in the morning in weekends, so be sure to request a quiet room if you plan on heading to bed early.
