Crowne Plaza Hotel Portland-Downtown Convention Center, an IHG Hotel (Portland, USA)

The Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown Convention Center is conveniently located in close proximity to a number of Portland's places of interest, such as the Oregan Convention Center and the nearby Museum of Science and Industry. Downtown Portland is a relatively short walk from the hotel and guests can also access this vibrant and exciting area via public transport. There is a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants for guests to enjoy and they can immerse themselves in the unique Portland atmosphere.

The vast majority of guests found the beds to be extremely comfortable and found this to be a highlight of their stay at this hotel. The mattress is soft but supportive as well as being large. The rooms themselves are fairly spacious and are comfortable to stay in.

The facilities at the Crowne Plaza are contemporary and modern, including an indoor salt water swimming pool and a well-equipped, up-to-date gym as well as a spa tub. The high-speed Wi-Fi is also a convenient amenity that guest were pleased to use.

Guests were not hugely pleased with the fact that there was an additional fee to use the car parking spaces and found this to be disappointing.

While most guests felt that the staff were extremely friendly, this did not deter from the fact that a number of guests had issues with the check-in process which included rooms not being ready or slow service.

The airport shuttle bus driver was found to be indifferent by a number of guests who would have preferred a friendlier mode of customer service. However, most guests would recommend staying at this hotel.
