The hotel is so perfectly located that you need not drive anywhere during your stay. There are shops, pubs, restaurants, and, of course, the local tourist sights all within an easy walk from the front door.
The staff at this hotel always have a genuine smile for their guests and seem to enjoy helping you out. Whether it’s advice on the sights or just a nice place to grab a drink, the front desk staff are more than helpful.
Everything at the breakfast table was freshly cooked and more than filling enough. There are plenty of options so you won’t find yourself eating the cereal and toast that you usually have at home during your stay.
The hotel is a bit dated décor-wise and could really do with a facelift, but some people think that adds to the charm of the place. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned but are certainly livable, so it’s probably worth putting up with.
The beds aren’t as comfortable as they look, and unless you already sleep on a hard bed, you might find you have a restless night at this hotel. The staff are excellent but they can’t really help fix the bed issues.
