Continental Hotel Panamá (Panama City, Panama)

Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Though the furnishings are a bit outdated they do manage to try and keep it presentable. The rooms have good working air conditioning and security.

There are plenty of restaurant choices in the area and a host of fast food places like Subway. There is also a gym in the vicinity for visitors who enjoy a good workout. Due to its downtown location you will find banks, offices, and a mall. It's very convenient as you are right in the center of the city.

The hotel's breakfast buffet may surprise you. You will find a nutritious blend of foods that are quite tasty. The made to order omelets are delicious.

The staff seem standoffish. They come across as unfriendly, unhelpful, and inattentive. However, it seems to go along with the custom as the people are quite serious and are not cordial unless they know you, which does not gel well if you are in the hotel industry.

The so-called casino is not really a casino but more like an arcade. It's certainly not on the Las Vegas level in terms of what a casino really looks like and what a real casino offers. By the way, the Wi-Fi could be better too.

The pool is not cleaned regularly, if at all. There are always cigarette butts floating and leaves floating around. In addition, the hotel rooms are somewhat outdated and the bathrooms are old.
