Guests loved the location of Clarion Hotel San Angelo which is on a river walk and central to the downtown shopping and nightlife and everything is in walking or a short distance. Many area attractions, good boutiques, eating places and historic shops are located nearby.

Guests loved the continental breakfast buffet which served a good portion and had a plenty of variety featuring items like eggs, sausage, fruits, cereals, yoghurt and other typical breakfast items. Even the dining room at the restaurant is very open and roomy and is loved by the guests.

Few guests mentioned that the hotel looks a bit dated and facilities are tired. Poor soundproofing in the rooms, dated furniture, old bedding and furniture, thin walls, old T.V, holes in bedding are some of the minor issues.  Though the room facilities are adequate, the hotel interiors need uplift.

Guests complained that the Internet connectivity was slow and inconsistent and it is very difficult to connect to the internet.

Many guests complained that the hotel is a run-down and lack cleanliness. Rooms had old dirty blankets, cigarette burns on sheets, old pillow cases, faulty hanging light fixtures in bathroom, stained carpet etc.
