This property is more or less in the shadow of the city's Petronas Towers, a position that afforded guests outstanding views of one of Malaysia's most famous landmarks. While the fab vista was one of this hotel's most highly praised points, guests were also impressed by the array of attractions and activities in the vicinity of the property.Set in Kuala Lumpur's Chow Kit area, there was plenty to see and do nearby, with the district's two famous markets - the Bazaar Baru Chow Kit and Bundle Chow Kit - topping the list of local must-see attractions.

The morning spread here - which is offered buffet-style - is highly commended, with many commenting positively on both the quality and quantity of food.

The pool at this city centre property proved to be a hit with guests, who loved taking a dip after a long day of sightseeing in hot and sticky Kuala Lumpur.

This hotel sees a lot of repeat guests, the vast majority of whom were not impressed by the property's recent renovation. While many couldn't quite define why, guests were less than thrilled about the refurb here; in comparison to past stays, most commented that the overall post-renovation atmosphere seemed different and somehow off-key.

Strange, lingering smells were an unwelcome feature throughout this property, especially in corridors and hallways.

Overall, the standards of housekeeping here were lacklustre, with conditions in bathroom areas noted to be especially dirty.
