A great place to get away for a night or a week, Telemark Camping's Eldhuset Cabin is a quaint cabin on a working farm (4 horses, 7 goats timber, hay) is located near the farmhouse between a mountain and a lake with nice views and lovely surroundings. Go for a hike, canoe on the lake or take time to read a book by the wood-burning stove. This area has downhill and cross-country ski resorts as close as 28km (Vrådal) but if you bring your own cross-country skis there is a lighted track 5km away (Veum) or you can use them on this property's roads. Warm weather brings boating, canoeing, fishing and swimming in Lake Skrede, horseback tours (check availability), hiking and even rock-climbing (bring your own equipment). There are many historical and cultural points of interest in the surrounding areas. Additional fees apply for bedding & towels (if not bringing them) and post-stay cleaning. Bicycles and fishing (does not include license) equipment available for rental.
