Staff is very friendly and accommodating, you can expect a warm welcome. Reception is helpful and goes out of the way to assist. The bar and food service is also excellent.

While the rooms are quite basic and rather small, they are clean with comfortable beds. The showers are good and water temperature and pressure is fine. It’s a great option at a reasonable price for central Glasgow and provides a place to crash after sigh

Rooms at Brunswick Merchant City Hotel are dated. Most are small with tiny bathrooms that could use retiling. Windows don’t shut securely and are draughty. The open wardrobe isn’t very functional and a coat of paint would do wonders. The hallways and room

It isn’t unexpected due to the central location and onsite bar open late but the hotel is rather noisy on weekends. Since the windows don’t shut properly the noise from outside is worse than it might otherwise be. The central location is still worth the s
