Super clean with friendly staff. Quality accommodation and a relaxing environment. It's family run - and it shows. They take a real pride in every aspect!

Remarkably so; they are cleaned + maintained to a very high standard. They are a bit dated now but still OK and any deficiency is offset by the unusually generous amount of space.

You can't beat the quality, style, content and overall appeal of Italian cuisine as evidenced here. The bar, too, is well stocked and there is no hassle involved in getting served.

Obviously, they're at the end of a tiring shift, but the welcome from reception staff is verging on the hostile. Not the best first impression.

So are the beds - uncomfortably so. Rooms and bathrooms are somewhat dated too, so accommodation gets a bit of a 'thumbs down'.

There's a problem with the heating system. Turn it off and you get a constant noise; turn it on and the noise disappears, but the room becomes unbearably hot! Sound insulation is woefully inadequate. Even when neighbouring guests aren't noisy or inebriated - you can still hear them quite clearly.
