About Varkauden Klubi

The historically significant and idyllic Varkauden klubi (The Varkaus clubhouse) is located right in the city center of Varkaus. It was relocated there in 1876 from the town of Terijoki which is now part of the Russian Federation. During its history, the building has served as a residence, hotel, restaurant and a clubhouse. Nowadays, in the 1000 m² facilities, it is possible to arrange different kinds of events and celebrations as well as to stay overnight in one of the eleven individual rooms. The Varkaus clubhouse is situated in the city of Varkaus in walking distance from the city center and shops. Close by you can also find many restaurants and coffee shops. The Varkaus club house offers quiet individual rooms where you can stay overnight. There is room for about thirty people thanks to the modular rooms. All rooms are individually furnished and have the possibility for extra beds if needed. Some of the retro-style rooms have a bath and a toilet, others have a toilet with shared bathroom and some rooms have shared bathrooms and toilet facilities located in the corridor. All the rooms have wifi and the visitors can freely use the shared kitchen/dining room.
