About The Olive Tree

The Olive Tree is a private home in a quiet area of Cromwell. There are 2 rooms one sleeps 2 or 3 and the other sleeps 2. The rooms both have a TV, air conditioning/fan, electric blankets, heating, tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom at the moment is shared but renovations have been started to convert it into an ensuite for the larger room and a private bathroom for the other. Robes are provided. There is also a shared private lounge complete with TV and stereo. Outside there are a couple of areas to eat or sit and there is also a barbecue available for use during the summer months. The Olive Tree is a non smoking property but there is a designated smoking area away from the house and outside living area. There are also 2 bikes available for use at no cost. The local area is quiet and is also walking distance from The Mall and well priced eateries. Cromwell is well known for its fabulous wineries some walking distance. Most of them have lunch menus or platters as well and to sit and take in the scenery and enjoy their wine and food is an amazing way to spend a couple of hours. There are many bike trails and walks and it is only 45 minutes to Queenstown and 35 minutes to Wanaka.
