64 acre, private estate, nestled in the Coromandel Forest Park, RAPAURA Watergardens is a tranquil haven away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Arrive and completely 'switch off'. Relax in the surrounding beauty of regenerating native bush, with a walk up to a cascading waterfall called the 'seven stairs to heaven' and also the man-made garden, which was created over 50 years ago. Stay in either the Country Cottage or Boutique Lodge, set up as self contained units with lots of space, comfort and views of the natural surroundings. No TV or Wifi in either unit, instead books, games and music. (Wifi is available to guests in our cafe) Our Cafe, KORU, is open from 9am-4pm, 7 days a week, from October to April. We serve a selection of international dishes (some award winning) using home grown and locally sourced ingredients. If you are looking for a place to rest, rejuvenate and recharge ones battery then a stay at RAPAURA will certainly be a step in the right direction.
