Cafe la Huerta is the embodiment of over 30 years of hard work, quality and consistency. It's founder, a determined Texan whom traveled all over the world to end up settling down in Guasca, Colombia, romantically started to build brick by brick the place he always wanted to find during his travels. Located 45 minutes away from the Bogota Café la Huerta is nested in the middle of the Andes mountains, there are plenty of natural parks and attractions close by and friendly locals willing to make your visit all the more memorable. When it comes to the hotel, we have 23 rooms, all private, with DirecTV, complementary WiFi, great beds and linen, french amenities, most with fireplaces and if they don´t have a fireplace they will have either electric or gas powered heaters. Our food is our main attraction with over 80 menu items, bread baked fresh through out the day and elaborate wood oven cooked meals such as the Seven cheese jumbo shrimp or Blue Cheese Filet Mignon.
