Charming and very special country BnB and lodges between La Rochelle, Rochefort and Marais Poitevin near Surgeres where you can find all kind of shops and services. Huge enclosed property (4 ha/10 acres) in a quiet village with beautiful centenary oaks, playgrounds, an orchard with chicken run, a field for the donkey and wild life everywhere. Ancient stone buildings including manor house and outbuildings: - the manor house has 3 big guest rooms or suite (up to 10 people) and lovely living rooms downstairs leading to the big terrace and parkland, and the owners appartments. - a little Cottage, designed for family and disabled people, can sleep 3. - an independant 3* self catering appartment can sleep 2. - an old barn restored by an architect, has been converted into a 4* self catering house for 5/6 people. Its groundfloor is fully accessible to people in a wheelchair. A Licence 3 bar is available on the property and dinners can be shared with the owners (with previous reservation, on certain conditions). We speak French, English, Spanish and can understand some Italian and German.
