You can enjoy a lovely view from the balcony of your room. You can see the ocean as it is within walking distance of the hotel. The garden is beautifully landscaped with lovely lawns and a fragrant herb garden and bright flowers. Although you need a car to visit most cultural destinations, there are some lovely restaurants and a supermarket close enough to walk to.

The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful, even though their English is not very good. They are happy to help you with your luggage and to give you suggestions on places to visit. They will help you to book anything you need. The cleaning staff are friendly and efficient.

The breakfast in the hotels on-site restaurant is very satisfactory. There is a wide variety for you to choose from and the food is all fresh and tasty. The service staff are quick to help you with anything you need and they make sure to replenish food when it gets low.

Although most guests were happy with the level of cleanliness at the Bay View Hotel, some guests reported that the outside areas such as the stairs and balcony were dirty. The cleaning staff also does not give you fresh towels everyday unless you ask them to.

Some guests have reported that the hotel can be noisy at times. The sound of children and shouting during the day caused some discomfort to some guests. The dogs next door sometimes bark at night and sometimes noise travels from one room to another.

Although it was not an issue for most guests, some guests were unhappy about the extra charges for the use of the air conditioning in their rooms. You have to pay a fee for the use of the air conditioner in your bedroom and more if you want to use it in the lounge area. Some guests feel that this should be included in the rates.
