Balneohotel Auro is situated on a hillside very close to the city centre of Velingrad. Many of its rooms have a view of the Rhodopi Mountain. The hotel has a total of 63 standard double rooms, plus 3 standard apartments and 3 larger apartments. All of the rooms are equipped with cable TV, Internet access, a telephone, mini bar, stereo system and bathroom with warm mineral water. The apartments have a separate living and sleeping area. Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, lobby bar, and a Spa centre that offers a range of different treatments. There are also three outdoor swimming pools, all of which are filled with mineral water from the locally famous "Vlas" spring, which is said to have healing properties, there is also a Jacuzzi. The restaurant has an indoor seating capacity for 120 guests with a further 60 outdoor seats on a terrace. For the business traveller there is a conference room that can hold up to 130 people, this is fully equipped with audio-visual equipment and has a wireless Internet connectivity.
