The gardens and grounds are spectacularly beautiful and enhanced by the infinity pool. Pure magic. The beach is a few steps away and there’s direct access, so you can easily enjoy a leisurely swim in the Caribbean.

You can bid that promised diet goodbye ... and accompany it with a Mexican Wave! The food is in keeping with the setting and is incredibly appetising. Breakfast, in particular, is a real daily treat.

Very friendly and attentive, members of staff play a prominent role in the overall enjoyment of your stay here. Rooms are just a few steps from the beach and benefit from a refreshing sea breeze. Air conditioning is essential and Wi-Fi is now required by many. Both work perfectly.

The rainfall shower is impressive and wonderfully relaxing – when it works! You can go for days on end without the reasonable luxury of a hot shower.

Everything runs like clockwork and members of staff work their socks off to ensure that you enjoy your stay to the full. Apart, that is, from Sunday when everything seems to grind to a halt and levels of service - particularly catering- take a plunge.

Tap water is very suspect and of course, it is used a lot for cleaning and washing up. Drink only bottled water, beer etc; and get those vaccinations before you arrive. You can’t always just go down the access path to the beach and jump in. There’s a massive build-up of seaweed, so you’ll probably need to walk further along the beach to find a clear section.
