Guests feel like they have been well looked after when they stayed here. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you, they know the area inside out and can give directions or recommendations on places to visit. The breakfast they offer is excellent with choices to suit all cultures.
The pictures used by this hotel are not completely indicative of the room you may be allocated. Some have been renovated whilst others are very old with dirty carpets that desperately need replacing.
There have been reports of a musty, damp smell that guests have not been able to identify the cause of. It has been suggested this could be due to the refurbishments or even due to the lack of refurbishment in some parts of the property.
The rooms are on the small side and therefore if you are planning on staying long term this may become a source of contention. This also extends to the bathrooms with guests reporting the space is quite tight and the shower cubicles on the small side.
