The 5 star InterContinental Davos Resort and Spa is situated in the Swiss Alps in the town of Davos high above sea level with an altitude of 1,600 metres. Zurich International Airport is approximately 150 km from the hotel. The 216 guest rooms which also include 23 suites have in room amenities such as televisions, telephones and mini bars. All the guest accommodation at the InterContinental Davos Resort and Spa are en-suite and have balconies which give guests views over the mountains and all the Alpine scenery. The whole top floor of the hotel is taken over by dining options with two restaurants and a bar as well as private dining rooms. 24 hour room service is also available. For meetings and conferences the hotel has 1,500 square metres of space available with seven meeting rooms and a large ballroom which can hold up to 500 people. The spa and wellness area at the hotel takes up 1,600 square metres of space and includes a swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms, whirlpool and treatment rooms where guests can receive spa treatments.
