The bar is a very lively place where you will have great fun with the locals and the staff. There are plenty of drinks to choose from, and everyone is so friendly that you'll want to stay there all night.

The food served up here is excellent with many guests being impressed by the size of the portions and the price. The food is fresh, and the waiting staff really know their game with plenty of advice on menu items available.

Some of the public areas need a little TLC, but they are all clean as are the rooms. You'll be hard pressed to find a speck of dust anywhere in this hotel where the housekeeping staff do a very thorough job.

Those that are physically challenged or getting on in years might not want to attend a function at this hotel where there are no lifts. It's a bit strange in this day and age to have a hotel with function rooms upstairs and no access for those in wheelchairs.

This place is still in good shape, but there are obvious signs of wear and tear throughout. In the bar, the stools need to be recovered while the carpets in the halls have seen better days. It's not that bad but don't expect luxury.

Some guests are surprised that the hotel has such small rooms especially considering the area that it is in. It's not the city centre so why such small rooms? It's still cheap enough for what it is though which is all you can ask for.
