The 25hours Hotel Terminus Nord is situated in the heart of the French capital, directly opposite the Gare du Nord train station. 237 rooms in a variety of categories await guests on the 1st to 6th floors. The standard M room starts at a size of around 18 - 20 sq. m. The rooms in the L category are a little more spacious at around 25-28 sq. m. Furnished to the 25hours standards that urban nomads appreciate: exquisitely comfy beds, air conditioning, sustainable toiletry products, flat-screen TV, minibar, UE Boom Bluetooth speaker and free high-speed Wi-Fi. Two rooms per floor are also equipped with a bath tub. The restaurant is the place to meet for lunch or dinner and in the bar one can enjoy a casual drink or two in a relaxed atmosphere.

It’s wonderful that pets are allowed at Mercure Paris Terminus Nord, especially if you like to travel with your favourite canine companion. Your dog will love it too, because Paris is such a dog-friendly city and there are so many great walks to be had just outside your door.
When staying here, you should take advantage of the live entertainment that is featured at The Golden Arrow Bar. It’s the perfect way to spend the evening in, while still feeling like you’re out on the town.
It’s unusual to find spacious rooms in a Paris hotel that also boasts such a reasonable price point, so it’s nice to know you’ll find them here. There’s room for your luggage and lots of room to manoeuvre, and even the bathroom is large.
If you are looking for a quiet stay, be sure to book a room at the rear of the property, as the front of the hotel is subject to noise from the road and the nearby train station. If possible, book a room facing the inner courtyard, where the noise is always at a minimum.
There is no restaurant at Mercure Paris Terminus Nord and the Bar is closed on Sundays, which could be a bit of a drag. However, on the days it is open, the Bar does serve a light menu and you always have 24-hour room service at your disposal. However, if those options don’t work for you, you can always dine at Cafe la Chaufferie which serves French fare, or any of the dozens of other restaurants and cafes located nearby.
Dirty, stained carpeting, mismatched bathroom tiles and bathroom fixtures that have seen better days all contribute to the less-than-wonderful aesthetic in the guest rooms. The place could certainly use a good dusting and a renovation wouldn’t hurt.
